Bring a ready made warp in either cotton, linen, tencel, rayon – no wool or silk. Limit your warp to 6 yards in length and 20 or so inches in width, just so that we hopefully don’t run out of dye. You can make it smaller/narrower, or have two narrow ones that you can then mix when warping. Bring an extra warp if you like for any left over dyes after everyone has made one warp [or one set of two small warps]. We’ll have 10 colors which include the basic 3, plus some others. You will be able to mix these colors to suit yourself. You will need to bring:

  • your warp wet – we will soak in soda ash here
  • a container or bags to take your warp home wet
  • rubber gloves if you want – we do have some gloves in an L and XL size.
  • a luncheon dish to share – drinks will be provided
  • nice weather like last year!
